phase I: design
Proposal
Based on initial conversations and project requirements, we provide a proposal outlining our design steps and an estimated fabrication budget.
Design
Early design presentations often include an array of approaches to aesthetic, mechanical, material, and experiential direction. This iterative and collaborative process allows us to provide clients with a breadth of options before narrowing to a chosen solution that is both viable and on-brand.
Fabrication + Engineering
Once a direction has been established, our designers finalize details to move toward fabrication. Our integrated design and build paradigm allows us to consider fabrication techniques and mechanical requirements in tandem with aesthetic choices, which allows us to maintain the integrity of a project direction from start to finish.
Fabrication Contract + Schedule
When the design has been finalized, we provide a transparent fabrication budget, contract, and project completion timeline.
phase II: build
In-House Fabrication
We use a combination of modern digital tools and old-school, high-quality craftsmanship to execute the design. Our in-house capabilities include all types of woodworking, large-scale CNC fabrication, metal machining, welding, and spray finishing.
Trade Expertise
For specialized custom project components, we work with a reliable network of specialty fabricators. From glass fabrication to sheet metal forming to powder coating, our trusted fabrication partners collaborate with us to support top-quality final products.
Transportation + Installation
We install what we’ve built in its final home. We provide full transportation and on-site installation services for every project.
Administration Coordination
With experience working with large institutions and small businesses alike, our dedicated administration team ensures all logistical aspects of a project run smoothly while our fabricators are hard at work.
