PROCESS

We transformed this underused corner of a Regent Square home into a welcoming gathering place for coffee chats, late-night snacking, and everything in between. Our goals for this renovation included maintaining the open feeling of the space and maximizing the natural light, which we accomplished by minimizing upper cabinetry and echoing the bright porcelain tone in the backsplash, wall finishes, and the understated upper cabinet color.

FINISHED PRODUCT

The organic warmth of the maple casework and butcher block counters is accented by a playful pop of ocean-blue tile and a hint of wildflower whimsy. Custom-fabricated floating shelves and a reclaimed farm sink lend a feeling of spacious functionality to this kitchen’s modest footprint. Contemporary full-overlay doors and modern pulls balance traditional details for a final look that feels refreshed while maintaining a sense of organic comfort.
